What happens if I miss an Afterpay payment for dental care?
You will be charged a late fee of $10 and an additional $7 fee if the payment is not made within 7 days. Afterpay will also continue to charge additional $7-fees for each week the payment remains unpaid, up to a maximum of 25% of the original purchase price or $68—whichever is less.
If you continue to miss payments, your Afterpay account may be suspended or terminated, and the outstanding balance may be referred to a debt collection agency, which could impact your credit score.
